Dr. Cho is Professor of Epidemiology at Seoul National University Graduate School of Public Health in Seoul, Korea, and is currently a visiting scholar at the University of Chicago. His research has encompassed various topics related to behavioral risk factors, including tobacco and alcohol use, physical activity, and work-related stress. As a consultant, he worked with the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency to support the management of behavioral risk factor surveillance system. Dr. Cho’s current interest is assessing the impact of sleep problems on the mental health of the Korean population, leveraging insights from the University of Chicago’s strong tradition of sleep research.
