Biography

Paul Billingham is Associate Professor of Political Theory in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Magdalen College. His research focuses on the implications of moral and religious disagreement for liberal democratic politics, the place of religion in politics, and religious freedom. He also works on the morality of online public shaming. He is one of the authors of Does Faith Belong in Politics? A Debate (Routledge, forthcoming), as well as numerous articles in journals of moral, political and legal philosophy.
